Description

5 Dirhams from United Arab Emirates by The Currency Board. First release of the National Currency for UAE.
Issue Date: 1973
Condition: Graded 20 Very Fine by PMG.
Some stains were lightened & A very tiny internal tear (actually it's a staple hole) was common in 70's. Check 4th photo.
A beautiful Rare serial number [252575]
Watermark: Horse's Head
Features:
Obverse Design: Features a traditional dhow boat, a moving camel caravan, a palm tree, and an oil derrick.
Reverse Design: Depicts the historic Fujairah Fort.
