Description

5 Dirhams from United Arab Emirates, issued by the Currency Board.
First issue of a national Currency for UAE after the nation was united.
Issue Date: 1973
Condition: Graded Very Fine 30 by PMG / Hard to see 2 pinholes but the note doesn't have any tear, annotation, split, neither repaired. Nice colours.

Design:
Front: Features a dhow boat, camel caravan, palm tree, and an oil derrick.
The reverse side prominently features the Fujairah Fort, which is considered one of the oldest castles in the UAE.
