Description

A vintage banknote from Syria, 25 Piastres.
Issue Date: 1st of August 1942
Condition: Graded Choice Very Fine 35 by PMG / Minor foreign substance, maybe stain... but the note is in an amazing condition, no repair, no flaws or tears.
Issued during WW2, when Syria & Lebanon were under the French mandate.
Beautiful note, highly requested as an important collectible gem.
Depicts an aerial view for Umayyad Grand Mosque in Damascus on the face & the back is ornamented by nice trimmings , two ornamented Roman Columns & a horse at middle bottom.
