Euphrates Dam: The center of the note features the Euphrates Dam (also known as the Tabqa Dam), a major hydroelectric and irrigation project on the Euphrates River.
Water Goddess Statue: On the right is a statue of a goddess holding a vase from which water flows. This is an ancient Sumerian stone statue from the ruins of Mari, Syria, dating back to the Archaic Dynasties (approx. 2nd millennium BC). The original statue is housed in the National Museum of Aleppo.
