Description

A vintage banknote from Syria, 25 Piastres.
Issue Date: 1st of August 1942
Condition: Graded Extremely Fine 40 by PMG
Issued during WW2, when Syria & Lebanon were under French mandate.
Beautiful note, highly requested as an important collectible gem.
Depicts an aerial view for Umayyad Grand Mosque on the face & the back is ornamented by nice trimmings , two ornamented Roman Columns & a horse at middle bottom.
