Description

I'm selling a vintage 1941 Government of Ceylon Five Rupees banknote (serial G). I owned this note for years as part of a small currency collection. The front shows King George VI portrait and the denomination text, dated 1st February 1941, and the reverse features traditional Sri Lankan imagery. The note is over 10 years old and in good condition with normal signs of circulation: light folds, minor soiling, and slight edge wear, but no major tears or missing pieces. It would suit a collector of historical banknotes or British colonial-era currency.
