Description

I am selling an original Government of Ceylon 10 Rupees banknote dated 12th July 1944. This is a vintage collectible note in good condition — it shows light signs of age and handling consistent with being over 10 years old but has been used only once since I acquired it. The note features the portrait of King George VI on the front, bilingual denomination markings, and an engraved image of the Temple of the Tooth on the reverse. Serial number visible: 650707. No major tears or missing pieces; there may be minor creasing and light discoloration around the edges typical for a circulated historic banknote. A nice piece for collectors of Ceylon/Sri Lankan currency or historical banknotes.
