Description

Antique doll 85–95 years old, most likely late 1930s to mid-1940s.
The painted composition-style face and molded/formed blonde hair are characteristic of dolls from the 1930s–40s.
* The large glass sleep eyes and painted lips/cheeks fit that period.
* The elaborate lace-and-net dress also has a distinctly pre-/early-WWII vintage appearance.
* Composition was widely used until hard plastic began.
