Description

**RØDE VideoMicro — compact on-camera shotgun microphone**

The single cheapest upgrade to your video quality. Built-in camera mics pick up handling noise and room echo; this points forward and records what's actually in front of the lens.

**No batteries needed** — it powers from your camera's mic jack, so there's nothing to charge or forget. Tiny and light at about 40g, so it doesn't unbalance a small camera.

Works with any camera that has a 3.5mm mic input and a hot shoe — Sony, Canon, Nikon, Fujifilm, Panasonic.

**Included:** the microphone, the red Rycote Lyre shock mount, the coiled 3.5mm cable and a **SmallRig cold-shoe bracket** (handy for mounting the mic off to the side so it doesn't block a flip-up screen).

**Not included:** the furry windshield (deadcat). Replacements are about AED 60 if you want one for outdoor shooting.
