We are looking for a friendly, professional, and customer-focused Guest Relations Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a welcoming experience for guests, handling enquiries and requests, resolving concerns professionally, and ensuring that guests receive excellent service throughout their visit.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and warmly greet guests upon arrival and throughout their stay.
- Provide professional and personalized assistance to guests.
- Handle guest enquiries, requests, feedback, and complaints promptly and courteously.
- Coordinate with Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and other departments to meet guest requirements.
- Assist with check-in and check-out procedures when required.
- Maintain accurate guest information and service records.
- Follow up on special requests, celebrations, VIP arrangements, and guest preferences.
- Provide information about hotel facilities, services, local attractions, restaurants, transportation, and other relevant services.
- Monitor guest satisfaction and take appropriate action to improve the guest experience.
- Handle telephone calls, emails, and other guest communications professionally.
- Escalate complex complaints or issues to the appropriate manager.
- Maintain a professional appearance and uphold company grooming and service standards.
- Support the team during busy periods and assist with other guest-service duties as required.
- Maintain confidentiality of guest information at all times.
Requirements
- Previous experience in Guest Relations, Front Office, Customer Service, Hospitality, or a similar role is preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong customer-service and interpersonal skills.
- Professional, confident, and pleasant personality.
- Good problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multicultural team.
- Good knowledge of English is required; additional languages are an advantage.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with hotel/guest management systems are preferred.
