We are seeking a knowledgeable and confident Electronics / Appliances Sales Assistant to guide customers through technical purchases and drive sales within the electronics and appliances department. Reporting to the Department Supervisor or Store Manager, the successful candidate will combine strong product knowledge with genuine customer service to help shoppers make confident, informed purchasing decisions on higher-value items.
The core of the role is customer consultation and sales. The Electronics / Appliances Sales Assistant approaches customers browsing the department, identifies their needs through good questions — usage, budget, space constraints, compatibility with existing devices — and recommends products that genuinely fit rather than simply pushing the highest-margin item. Features and specifications are explained in plain language, translating technical detail into practical benefits the customer actually cares about, and comparisons between models are presented honestly.
