🎯 Key Responsibilities:
Lead Prospecting: Conduct daily market research, cold calls, and site visits to identify active or upcoming fit-out and millwork projects.
Tender Registration: Register our company on vendor lists for main contractors, project management firms, and government procurement portals.
Inquiry Collection: Secure complete tender packages, including Bills of Quantities (BOQ), architectural layouts, material specifications, and project timelines.
Estimation Support: Coordinate with the internal estimation team to clarify client requirements, check joinery details, and follow up on proposal progress.
Proposal Submission: Deliver commercial and technical bids to clients, presenting material samples, wood finishes, and mock-ups when required.
Follow-up & Closure: Systematically follow up on submitted quotes to handle objections, clarify variations, and push for the final purchase order (PO).
Client Onboarding: Maintain continuous contact with interior design studios, architects, and main contractors to build a pipeline of repeat business's Management: Track all leads, site visits, meeting notes, and quote statuses diligently inside the sales database.
🛠 Skills and Qualifications
Experience: 2–4 years of front-line sales or business development experience within the joinery, furniture manufacturing, or interior fit-out industry.
Technical Understanding: Ability to read basic architectural drawings and recognize common materials like MDF, solid wood, veneers, laminates, and ironmongery.
Field Sales Mindset: Strong willingness to travel frequently to construction sites, consultant offices, and client factories.
Communication: Fluent verbal and written communication skills with the confidence to pitch services to procurement managers and project teams.
Negotiation: Persuasive objection-handling skills to defend pricing models and push for contract signatures.
Mobility: Valid driver's license and having your own car is highly preferred for making daily client and site visits.
