Build the wholesale arm of a 25-year-old European premium tea & coffee brand, and lead the team that scales it across the UAE.
ABOUT CANTATA
CANTATA is a European premium tea and coffee house with more than a quarter-century of heritage and retail presence in six countries, France, Belgium, Armenia, Russia, Cyprus, and now the UAE. Our flagship in Dubai (Al Attar Business Center, Al Barsha 1) introduced the local market to over 300 hand-blended teas, signature coffee blends, herbal infusions, accessories and gift sets.
Our supply chain is one of the things our customers love about us:
- Coffee sourced from estates in Peru, Colombia, Uganda, Brazil and Panama, and roasted in Belgium by our long-standing partner Coffeeroots.
- Tea drawn from green tea plantations in China, black tea gardens in India and Sri Lanka, matcha producers in Japan, and Arabica plantations in Africa.
- Herbal infusions built around hand-harvested ingredients from the mountains of Armenia.
- 100% natural, no chemistry, no synthetic flavourings, no shortcuts.

THE OPPORTUNITY
We're hiring our first Wholesale Sales Manager to own and build out the entire B2B revenue stream. This is a player-coach role: you will personally develop and close wholesale accounts, AND you will hire and lead the sales team that scales the channel.
You'll report directly to senior management, own the wholesale P&L, and have real authority over how this part of the business is built.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Sell. Personally develop and close wholesale accounts across UAE's HoReCa segment: hotels, restaurants, specialty cafés, corporate offices, premium retail, gift companies, airline catering, and government.
- Build the team. Hire, onboard, and develop a wholesale sales team of 5-8 representatives over the first 6 months.
- Lead and coach. Set individual targets, run weekly pipeline reviews, coach on technique, and hold the team accountable to clear KPIs.
- Open new channels. Identify and develop new wholesale segments and gifting verticals.
- Own key accounts. Serve as the senior point of contact for the largest customers.
- Forecast and report. Own monthly and quarterly forecasts, pipeline visibility, and margin health.
- Represent the brand. Champion CANTATA's heritage, quality, and culture at every customer touchpoint.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 5+ years in B2B sales, with at least 2 years managing or building a team
- Background in food & beverage, HoReCa supply, FMCG, or premium consumer goods, direct coffee/tea experience is a significant plus
- An existing network in UAE HoReCa, retail, or corporate gifting channels
- A consistent track record of hitting or exceeding sales targets
- Hands-on hiring and coaching experience, you've built a team, not inherited one
- Strong commercial acumen: pricing, margin protection, deal structuring
- Excellent English (Arabic and/or Russian a plus)
- UAE driving licence
- Comfortable in a fast-moving, founder-led environment
