Third State Cafe is looking for an experienced Senior Barista to lead beverage operations at our office-building coffee concession.
Responsibilities:
Prepare espresso-based drinks and specialty coffee to a consistently high standard
Lead and mentor junior baristas on technique, workflow, and customer service
Oversee daily station setup, equipment calibration, and cleanliness
Manage stock levels, ordering, and wastage control for coffee, milk, and supplies
Ensure quality control across all drinks, including latte art and taste consistency
Handle opening/closing procedures and cash/POS reconciliation
Deliver fast, friendly service suited to a high-traffic office environment
Uphold hygiene and food safety standards
Requirements:
2+ years of barista experience, including some experience training or supervising others
Strong espresso and milk-texturing skills; latte art a plus
Ability to work efficiently during peak morning/lunch rushes
Good communication and leadership skills
Familiarity with POS systems and basic inventory management
Availability aligned with office building hours (weekday-focused)

Interest in menu development or seasonal drink creation
