We are seeking a careful and methodical Quality Control Assistant to support inspection and testing activities that ensure products meet required specifications before they move forward in the process. Reporting to the QA/QC Supervisor or Quality Manager, the successful candidate will carry out routine checks, record results accurately, and flag anything that falls outside standard rather than let it pass unchallenged.
The core of the role is inspection and testing support. The Quality Control Assistant carries out visual inspections and basic measurements or tests on incoming materials, in-process production, and finished goods, comparing results against the specification or tolerance defined for that item. Samples are collected according to the sampling plan, tests are performed following documented procedures exactly, and results are recorded clearly and immediately rather than reconstructed from memory later.
