Dream Night Hypermarket is seeking an experienced Supplier Development Manager to build and expand a strong local and international supplier network.
The successful candidate will identify, evaluate and onboard new suppliers across the UAE and international markets. The role will focus on developing long-term relationships with manufacturers, distributors, wholesalers and trading companies while improving product pricing, quality, availability and supply efficiency.
Main responsibilities include identifying and onboarding new suppliers, negotiating prices, payment terms, delivery schedules and commercial agreements, maintaining an accurate supplier database, monitoring supplier performance, resolving pricing, quality and delivery issues, identifying alternative suppliers and working closely with the sourcing, purchasing, logistics, warehouse and finance teams.
Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, supplier development or supplier management. Previous experience in retail, FMCG, trading, wholesale or hypermarket operations is required.
The ideal candidate should have strong negotiation, supplier relationship management, commercial evaluation and reporting skills. Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and fluency in English are required. Additional languages are an advantage.
Applicants must include details of the suppliers and product categories previously managed, countries and markets sourced from, major supplier-development achievements and examples of cost savings or improved commercial terms.
