ART HANDLER / ART LOGISTICS ASSISTANT

We are looking for a reliable and hands-on Art Handler to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience handling artworks and be comfortable with art installation, packing, crating, transportation, and general art logistics, as well as assisting with basic administrative and documentation tasks.
Key Responsibilities
• Handle, pack, unpack, transport and safely store artworks.
• Carry out art installations and de-installations in galleries, exhibitions and private residences.
• Prepare artworks for local and international shipping, including crating, wrapping and protective packaging.
• Build and prepare custom wooden crates and assist with basic carpentry/handyman work.
• Drive company vehicles for artwork deliveries, collections and other work-related errands.
• Assist with artwork inventory, condition reports, packing lists, delivery notes and photographic documentation.
• Maintain organized storage areas, tools and installation materials.
• Assist with basic administrative tasks, filing, scanning, documentation and general office support.
• Coordinate with clients, galleries, suppliers, couriers and the team regarding deliveries and installations.
• Support general gallery operations and other duties as required.
Qualifications
• With minimum experience of 3years as an Art Handler, Art Installer, Gallery Assistant, Exhibition Technician or similar role preferred.
• Valid UAE driving license is required.
• Experience in artwork handling, packing, installation and transportation.
• Experience in crate making, carpentry or basic handyman work is an advantage.
• Physically fit and able to safely lift and move artworks.
• Careful, detail-oriented and responsible when handling valuable and fragile artworks.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to handle documentation, emails and administrative tasks.
• Good communication skills and a professional attitude.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of Dubai roads and locations.
