Opportunity Responsibilities

The Senior Manager Ticketing is responsible for sourcing and solidification of ticket reselling and ticket promotion agreements to drive ticket sales from all indirect channels through third parties. This key role will be vitally important in helping Expo 2020 achieve its visitor goals whereby approximately 70% are expected to come from abroad.

Main responsibilities for this role will include:

- Strategic planning for the development of all B2B ticket sales channels, including: goals, target markets and collaborators, road-show and promotional scheduling, commission scales, planning for seamless operations and reporting;

- Work with Expo2020 Marketing and Communications and external agencies, representing Expo 2020's interests at Tourism and MICE tradeshows internationally to deliver destination based programs to stimulate ticket sales in core markets and achieve visitor targets;

- Establish a ticket reseller network with tour operators world-wide who will bundle destination travel packages and value added propositions to help drive a high level of international visitation for Expo2020;

- Develop reseller agreements, negotiations and contract closure, as well as monitoring of rules adherence, liaising with the Expo2020 Legal and Finance;

- Lead the team B2B Ticket Sales team responsibly and proficiently, providing effective line management to direct reports.

Skills

8+ years' experience in managing B2B promotional relationships and commercial partnerships for large scale, globally important international events and corporate events;

- A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university in Marketing, Business or Economics;

- Preferably 3+ years of experience in Destination Sales/Marketing with experience in and knowledge of the international travel and consumer digital space including an understanding of content, marketing and trends;

- Proven track record in developing value added reseller relationships within the travel trade industry;
