We are seeking a careful and efficient Packing Operator to prepare finished products for storage and dispatch in line with quality, quantity, and packaging specifications. Reporting to the Production Supervisor or Packing Line Leader, the successful candidate will work on the packing line to ensure that every unit leaving the facility is correctly packed, labelled, and ready for the next stage of the supply chain.
The core of the role is line packing. The Packing Operator receives product from the production line and packs it into cartons, pouches, bottles, or other containers according to the specification for that item, checking fill weight, count, or volume against the standard as the work proceeds. Products are visually inspected during packing for defects, contamination, or damage, with anything below standard removed and reported rather than passed through. Work is carried out at the pace required to keep up with the line while maintaining accuracy, and the operator flags to the supervisor immediately if speed and quality cannot both be sustained.
