Job Summary:
The Joinery Manager is responsible for overseeing all joinery operations, including production planning, workshop management, quality control, and team supervision. This role ensures that all joinery works (woodwork, furniture, fit-outs, cabinetry, etc.) are completed efficiently, on time, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and supervise daily operations of the joinery workshop.
Plan, schedule, and monitor production activities to meet project deadlines.
Coordinate with design, project management, and site teams for smooth workflow.
Ensure all joinery work meets design specifications and quality standards.
Oversee procurement of materials and maintain inventory levels.
Monitor machinery and equipment maintenance for optimal performance.
Implement health & safety standards within the workshop.
Lead, train, and evaluate joinery staff, carpenters, and supervisors.
Control costs, reduce waste, and improve productivity.
Handle client requirements and resolve any technical or production issues.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Joinery Manager or similar role.
Strong knowledge of woodworking, joinery techniques, and materials.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Good communication and coordination abilities.
Experience in factory/workshop operations and project execution.
Knowledge of health & safety regulations.
