Job Summary
Noor Deira Steel LLC is seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our warehouse and logistics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts to safely load, unload, transport, and stack materials while ensuring compliance with company safety procedures and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts safely to load, unload, move, and stack materials and products.
- Transport raw materials, finished goods, and other items within the warehouse or production facility.
- Inspect forklifts before each shift and report any -mechanical defects or maintenance requirements.
- Ensure loads are properly secured and handled to prevent damage or accidents.
- Assist with receiving, storing, and dispatching materials according to company procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory movement when required.
- Follow warehouse safety rules and company policies at all times.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and free from safety hazards.
- Assist with manual handling and other warehouse duties when forklift operation is not required.
- Cooperate with warehouse supervisors and other team members to ensure efficient operations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience operating a forklift in a warehouse, factory, or industrial environment.
- Valid UAE Forklift Operator License/Certification is preferred.
- Good understanding of warehouse safety practices.
- Physically fit and able to lift, move, and handle materials when necessary.
- Basic English communication skills; knowledge of -Hindi, Arabic or other languages is an advantage.
- Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
