Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Jewelry Quality Controller to inspect, evaluate, and ensure that all jewelry pieces meet the company's quality standards before delivery or dispatch.
The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of jewelry craftsmanship, materials, finishing, and quality inspection, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
Inspect finished jewelry pieces for quality, workmanship, and overall appearance.
Check for scratches, dents, loose stones, uneven settings, polishing defects, and other imperfections.
Verify jewelry specifications, measurements, stone settings, and finishing against approved designs and samples.
Ensure products meet company quality standards before packaging and dispatch.
Identify defective or damaged items and prepare detailed quality inspection reports.
Coordinate with production teams and suppliers regarding quality issues and necessary corrections.
Inspect jewelry components, materials, and finished products.
Maintain accurate records of rejected, approved, and returned items.
Conduct final quality checks on jewelry packaging and presentation when required.
Requirements
Previous experience in jewelry quality control or jewelry manufacturing is preferred.
Good knowledge of jewelry materials, gemstones, settings, polishing, and finishing techniques.
Excellent attention to detail and strong observation skills.
Ability to identify defects and assess jewelry workmanship.
Good organizational and reporting skills.
Ability to work independently and meet inspection deadlines.
Strong communication and coordination skills.
