We are seeking an accurate and methodical Dispatch Clerk to manage the outbound flow of goods from our facility. Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, the successful candidate will prepare shipments for departure, produce and verify dispatch documentation, and ensure that what leaves the building matches exactly what was ordered.
The heart of the role is order verification and preparation. The Dispatch Clerk receives picked orders from the warehouse floor and checks them line by line against pick lists and sales orders, confirming quantities, batch or serial numbers, and product condition before release. Discrepancies, damages, and shortages are identified at this stage and reported rather than passed downstream. Once verified, the clerk oversees packing and labelling to customer and carrier specification, applies shipping marks and handling instructions, and stages consignments in the correct dispatch bay in loading sequence.
