Euro Sun Goods Wholesalers LLC is a Dubai-based importer, exporter, and distributor of premium FMCG products including snacks, confectionery, beverages, and frozen foods. We manage international trade flows across multiple jurisdictions, importing into the UAE, exporting across the GCC and wider regional markets, as well as managing cross-border transactions across the region and beyond.
We are seeking an Import & Export Manager to lead our international logistics function. Based in our Dubai office, this is a senior role responsible for the end-to-end movement of goods (imports, exports, and cross-border transactions across multiple jurisdictions), ensuring shipments flow accurately, on time, cost-effectively, and in full regulatory compliance.
The role combines strategic oversight with operational leadership across multiple trade lanes and geographies. The successful candidate will be a results-driven senior logistics professional with deep international trade expertise, strong commercial acumen, and proven experience leading teams across geographies. They will be a critical commercial enabler, protecting margin through smart logistics decisions, mitigating risk through robust compliance, and ensuring the supply chain consistently delivers for the business.
Key Responsibilities
● Lead the import / export logistics function across all operating jurisdictions; own the logistics P&L, deliver against budget, and protect margin through smart cost management.
● Oversee end-to-end import, export, and cross-border shipment operations across all jurisdictions and trade lanes; ensure accurate, on-time execution and manage exceptions with minimal commercial impact.
● Lead carrier and forwarder strategy (selection, rate negotiation, contracts, and performance) and optimise trade lanes, modes, routing, and Incoterm structures.
● Ensure full compliance with international trade regulations, sanctions, customs, and import / export laws; maintain robust documentation; proactively identify and mitigate logistics, regulatory, and commercial risks.
● Lead, develop, and mentor the import / export team across multiple jurisdictions; set objectives and development plans; build a culture of accuracy, accountability, and proactive problem-solving.
● Build strategic relationships with freight forwarders, shipping lines, customs brokers, and logistics partners; negotiate rates, SLAs, and contracts; partner closely with internal teams (commercial, finance, warehouse, brand).
● Drive continuous improvement in processes, systems, and reporting; champion automation; provide regular performance reporting and analytics to senior leadership.
Requirements
● 10+ years of progressive experience in international logistics, import / export, or supply chain management, with proven seniority in a multi-country trading environment; FMCG sector experience preferred.
● Deep expertise in international shipping, freight forwarding, customs procedures, and trade documentation; comprehensive understanding of Incoterms, trade compliance, and sanctions.
● Strong Middle East / GCC trade expertise required; Asia-Pacific or other major trade regions an advantage.
● Hands-on experience with cross-trade, triangular trade, and complex multi-leg shipments; familiarity with trade finance instruments an advantage.
● Strong commercial acumen; comfortable owning a logistics P&L, managing budgets, negotiating contracts, and driving process improvement and cost reduction.
● Proven leader of teams across multiple jurisdictions, including remote and cross-cultural management; excellent stakeholder skills across senior leadership, country teams, and external vendors.
● Excellent written and spoken English; strong MS Office (Excel) and supply chain / ERP proficiency; proactive, results-oriented, and willing to travel.
