HIRING: LOGISTICS OPERATIONS PROFESSIONAL – DUBAI
We are looking for an experienced Logistics Operations Professional to join our team in Dubai.
REQUIREMENTS:
• 1-2 years of experience in logistics / import & export / freight forwarding.
• Must have strong practical knowledge of Dubai/UAE import and export procedures.
• Good understanding of customs clearance and UAE customs procedures.
• Experience handling import and export shipments by sea, air and road.
• Good knowledge of shipping and logistics documentation including invoices, packing lists, BL, AWB, Certificate of Origin, Delivery Orders, etc.
• Knowledge of HS Codes, Incoterms, customs duties and VAT.
• Experience dealing with freight forwarders, shipping lines, customs brokers, transport companies and suppliers.
• Ability to coordinate shipments from origin to final delivery.
• Good understanding of Dubai trade and logistics operations.
• Must be able to handle documentation, shipment tracking, customs clearance and delivery coordination independently.
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
• Good knowledge of MS Office and Excel.
• Must be organized, detail-oriented and able to work under pressure.
• UAE/Dubai logistics experience is preferred.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Manage daily import and export operations.
• Coordinate with suppliers, customers, freight forwarders, shipping lines, customs brokers and transport companies.
• Prepare and check all required shipping and customs documents.
• Follow up on customs clearance and shipment releases.
• Arrange transportation, pickups and deliveries.
• Track shipments and ensure timely delivery.
• Resolve shipment delays and operational issues.
• Monitor freight, transportation and other logistics costs.
• Maintain proper records of all import/export transactions.
• Ensure all shipments and documentation comply with UAE requirements.
• Handle multiple shipments and logistics activities simultaneously.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
We need someone who has real hands-on experience in Dubai logistics and understands the complete import/export process. The candidate should be able to manage day-to-day logistics operations independently and should not require extensive training for basic import, export, customs and shipping procedures.
