We are looking for a Senior Network Engineer with strong hands on experience in Huawei and Cisco switching environments. The role is responsible for network design, deployment, and operations, including physical installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and operate enterprise and or service provider networks
Lead installation and commissioning of Huawei and Cisco switches
Manage, customize, and troubleshoot SNMP and MIBs for network monitoring and integration with thrid party tools
Oversee racking, wiring, cabling, and labeling to professional standards
Configure VLANs, routing, redundancy, and high availability
Configure, manage, and troubleshoot load balancers
Troubleshoot complex network issues across physical and logical layers
Implement and enforce network security policies
Maintain accurate network documentation and diagrams
Participate in on call support and critical incident handling
Required Skills and Experience
Strong hands on experience with Huawei and Cisco switches in production environments
Proven experience with racking, cabling, wiring, and labeling
Deep understanding of TCP IP, routing, switching, and network architecture
Experience designing resilient and highly available networks
Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
Ability to work under pressure and handle high stress production incidents
Willingness to work after hours, on call, and during planned maintenance windows
Hold UAE driving license
Preferred Skills
Huawei certifications such as HCIP or HCIE
Cisco certifications such as CCNP or higher
Experience in telco or service provider environments
Firewall and VPN experience
Network monitoring and automation exposure
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
5 plus years experience in network engineering roles
