Position Overview
As a Full Stack / Back End Developer at PRM Assist, you’ll be at the forefront of transforming our
vision into reality. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will contribute to the
development of cutting-edge web and mobile applications that directly improve the travel
experience for passengers with reduced mobility across airports worldwide.
Your role will involve crafting robust back-end solutions using Node.js, Docker, and CouchDB, and
implementing responsive user interfaces using React JS and React Native. This position offers a
unique opportunity to blend technical expertise with a sense of purpose making a meaningful
impact on the lives of travellers with diverse needs.
Key Responsibilities
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to design and develop innovative web and
mobile applications
• Implement and maintain secure, scalable back-end solutions built on Node.js and CouchDB
• Develop responsive, user-friendly interfaces using React JS and React Native
• Manage and maintain containerised environments using Docker
• Contribute to the full software development lifecycle — from requirements and architecture
through to deployment and support
• Ensure application performance, security, and reliability across all environments
• Participate in code reviews, technical planning sessions, and sprint ceremonies

Skills & Qualifications
Essential
• Proven experience in web and mobile application development
• Strong proficiency in React JS and React Native for front-end development
• Solid back-end development experience with Node.js
• Hands-on experience with Docker for containerisation and deployment
• Understanding of NoSQL databases, preferably CouchDB or similar (e.g. MongoDB)
• Familiarity with RESTful API design and integration
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative working style
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
Desirable
• Experience in aviation, transport, or accessibility technology
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and cloud hosting environments
• Understanding of accessibility standards and inclusive design principles
• Experience working with distributed or international teams
