YDS Design Studio— Interior Design Studio
Location: Dubai
About Us
YDS is an interior design studio specializing in residential and hos[pitality projects. We're looking for a detail-oriented Administration & Accounting Assistant to keep our office running smoothly and our book keeping is in order, supporting a fast-paced, creative team.
About the Role
This is a hybrid role combining office administration with day-to-day accounting support. You'll be the backbone of our daily operations — managing vendor communications, and general office needs — while also handling invoicing, expense tracking, and basic bookkeeping. The ideal candidate is organized, discreet with financial information.
Key Responsibilities
Administration
Manage day-to-day office operations, supplies, and vendor/contractor coordination
Schedule meetings, site visits, and client appointments for the design team
Handle incoming calls, emails, and correspondence professionally
Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for contracts, project files, and permits
Assist with onboarding new hires and maintaining basic HR records
Accounting
Prepare and issue client invoices and follow up on outstanding payments
Process supplier invoices and manage accounts payable
Support monthly bookkeeping and filing of receipts.
Liaise with the external accountant/auditor as needed
Maintain accurate records for tax and audit purposes
Requirements
2–5 years of experience in an administrative and/or accounting support role
Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
Discretion when handling confidential financial and client information
Fluency in English required
