About the Job:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated Assistant Guest Services Manager to join the Burj Al Arab. The main purpose of the role is to ensure the team greet & guide all guests or visitors coming to the hotel and ensure personalized welcoming for check-in guests by offering dates, rose water & hot/cold towels as per standard.

Your key duties are:

Daily organisation & operation of greeting desk & main lobby
Desk in-charge - suite allocations & cashiering
Briefings
Meeting & greeting all guests on arrival
Manning - rostering, vacation planning, lieu day planning
Appraisals
Training of guest services colleagues
CSI / JD power targets achievement
Ensure that s/he adheres to all hotel and company standards, Business conduct and ethics, policies and procedures including Health, Hygiene & Safety.




Qualifications :

About You:

In order to be considered for this role, you must have at least 1 year Front Office leadership role experience in a 5 star hotel.

It is essential that you have good command of the English language (spoken and written) and additional language of either Arabic, Chinese Russian, Spanish, German or French.
