About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and experienced ELV Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise across a wide range of extra-low-voltage security systems, with a strong track record of installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance in live commercial and residential environments.
Key Responsibilities
•Install, configure, and maintain CCTV systems (IP, and NVR-based)
•Set up and service Gate Barrier and vehicle access systems
•Install and program Access Control Systems (card readers, biometric devices, controllers)
•Handle ANPR system installation and calibration
•Install and troubleshoot SMATV systems
•Design and implement Structured Cabling for data and voice networks
•Install and terminate Telephone & Data cabling (Cat6/Fiber)
•Install and configure BGM (Background Music) systems
•Diagnose and resolve system faults, ensuring minimal downtime
•Conduct routine preventive maintenance and system health checks
•Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and system layouts
•Coordinate with project teams, supervisors, and clients on-site
•Maintain accurate service reports, documentation, and asset records
•Ensure all work complies with safety standards and local regulations
Requirements
•Minimum 2–5 years of hands-on experience in ELV systems installation and maintenance
•Strong working knowledge of CCTV, Access Control, Gate Barriers, ANPR, SMATV, Structured Cabling, Telephone & Data, and BGM systems
•SIRA certification preferred (Security Industry Regulatory Agency, Dubai)
•Familiarity with major system brands (Hikvision, Dahua, HID, Nedap, FAAC, BFT, etc. — brand experience a plus)
•Ability to read and work from technical/electrical drawings
•Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
•Valid UAE driving licence preferred
•Good communication skills in English; Arabic/Hindi/Urdu a plus
•Willingness to work flexible hours and travel between sites as required
