Established in 2012, we are a highly specialized aluminum extrusion company. Our company is in Dubai Industrial City. Our product range caters to the needs of HVAC, refrigeration, automotive and various engineering & industrial applications. We have a vacancy for the role of electrical technician that we are looking to hire for, as per the below job description and specifications.
• Monitor electricity and water (DEWA usage) consumption. Suggest improvements and methods to reduce water and electricity consumption.
• Keep lighting and electrical systems in working order. Diagnose issues as and when they arise and repair/replace faulty parts.
• Conduct predictive and proactive maintenance as per schedule at regular intervals.
• Conduct periodic inspection and electrical maintenance for all electrical equipment including compressors and cooling tower.
• Skilled in interpreting electrical blueprints, designing circuit schematics, and modifying electrical systems for optimal performance.
• Liaise with external maintenance providers for AMC for machinery and outsourced services.
• Basic knowledge of PLC troubleshooting and fault diagnosis.
• Maintain records/logs of breakdown and update the history card.
• Maintain list, inventory and status of spare parts.
• Installation of fixture boxes, drilling, pulling wires welding, milling, terminating of wires and installation of panels.
• Skilled in operating and maintaining LV and HV switchgear systems, including capacitor banks, ensuring safe and efficient electrical performance.
• Adhere to the Health & Safety regulations as defined by the Company.
Qualifications: Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
Experience: Minimum 3-4 years in a similar role.
Technical skill requirements:
• Reading electrical blue prints
• M.S Office
• Knowledge of electrical equipment and circuit boards
• Problem solving
• Mechanical aptitude
• Service/customer oriented
• Physical stamina
• Risk assessment
