JUMEIRAH RESTAURANT GROUP DUBAI™ (JRG Dubai) is the restaurant management company for Jumeirah Group. It operates independent restaurants and bars with an amazing selection of culinary delights from around the world in socially orientated venues that appeal to different tastes, appetites and occasions. Venues include Pierchic, The Agency and The Noodle House, which comprises a portfolio of 23 branches worldwide. JRG Dubai also operates restaurants via management contracts, joint ventures, white label arrangements and franchise agreements.

About the Job:

An exciting role has arisen in the Food & Beverage at Jumeirah Restaurant Group for a highly motivated and hardworking individual. The main purpose of this position is responsible to ensure, administration, information functions and duties of the department are carried in a professional, discreet, exact and prompt manner in accordance with documented SOPs and JRG Policies.

Ensures all activities adhere to and support the Jumeirah Restaurant Group Management System.

Responsible for all administrative work in the F&B office.

Takes minutes of meetings and drafts necessary documents for distribution when required.

Posts and maintain up to date copies of all Outlet menus in public folders.

Responsible to raise purchase requests concerning F&B operation when required.

Updates F&B Generic SOPs through Mercury as required and maintain up-to date hard copies of all F&B generic SOPs.

Controls all F&B Generic standard forms in public folders adhering to JRG document control procedures.

Contracts live entertainers as required, inclusive of booking of flights, arranging entertainers' permits, accommodation and any other related activities.

Maintains adequate stocks of stationery and office supplies.

Maintains office equipment in excellent working order.

Acknowledges the receipt of new or amended documents through Mercury.

Communicates new or amended procedures to relevant departments/colleagues in a timely manner, ensuring they have been understood.

Controls department forms and records according to the JRG standards for document control.

Manages the department vacation, public holiday and Lieu day balances.
Administration:

Maintaining Workplace Confidentiality

Processes office documents for example Symphony forms, AFE's and contracts.

In charge of scheduling meetings for the Operations team.

Assist the Operations team to prepare project critical paths.

Processes documents accurately, in accordance with Jumeirah Restaurant Group procedures and within designated timelines.

Use office equipment correctly to process documents.

Maintaining and updating documents on P Drive.

Identify, rectify or report office equipment malfunctions promptly, and in accordance with Jumeirah Restaurant Group procedures.

Drafts written communication

Selects appropriate format and style for correspondence according to purpose, audience and situation.

Drafts documents according to document control standards and formats.

Uses clear and concise language appropriate to purpose, audience and situation.

Uses correct spelling, punctuation and grammar to ensure understanding by receiver.

Checks information for accuracy prior to sending.

Maintains document systems

File/stores documents in accordance with Jumeirah Restaurant Group procedures.

Modifies and updates reference and index systems as required


Qualifications :

About You:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

Must have a University degree or Diploma in Business Administration and at least 2 years' experience in administration, preferably within the hospitality industry.

Must able to communicate effectively in English, Additional languages are desirable (especially Arabic).

Must have operating knowledge of Adaco , Micros & Microsoft Office applications
