About the role
We are a company which is a by-appointment distributor and dealer of high-end audio equipment serving discerning clients across the GCC. We represent some of the most respected names in two-channel and reference audio, and our clients invest in systems built to last decades, not seasons.
We are hiring an Audio Systems Specialist to be the human face of that experience: hosting auditions in our listening room, conducting in-home demonstrations and installations, designing systems with clients, and maintaining long-term relationships with audiophiles and collectors across the region. This is a career role for someone who wants to grow with a small, specialist business.
No prior experience with specific high-end brands is required. We will train you on the products, the brands, and the calibration craft. What we cannot teach is taste, patience with clients, and a genuine love of music — those you bring with you.
What you will do
Client experience and sales (the majority of your week)
• Host private auditions in our Dubai listening room, guiding clients through equipment selection at their pace.
• Conduct in-home demonstrations, on-site consultations, and white-glove installations across the UAE and wider GCC.
• Build long-term client relationships through attentive, unhurried follow-up — high-end audio decisions often unfold over weeks or months.
• Translate technical and musical qualities into language clients connect with — soundstage, tonal balance, dynamics, musicality — without jargon or condescension.
• Maintain discretion and confidentiality at all times when working in private residences.
• Log every client interaction, demo loan, and follow-up in our CRM with discipline.
System design and installation
• Recommend system pairings (source, amplification, speakers, cabling, room treatment, power) tailored to the client's room, taste, and budget.
• Plan and execute installations: speaker placement, rack design, cable routing, dedicated electrical considerations, isolation, and grounding.
• Calibrate analogue front-ends — turntable setup, tonearm alignment, cartridge mounting and azimuth, VTA, anti-skate — to a high standard.
• Carry out room measurement and basic acoustic optimisation using industry tools.
• Coordinate with smart-home integrators (Crestron, Control4, Savant) when systems form part of a wider installation.
Aftercare and technical support
• Provide first-line technical support to clients, in person, by phone, and remotely.
• Diagnose issues, perform basic in-house servicing (re-termination, cleaning, minor repairs), and coordinate with manufacturers for warranty and specialist repair.
• Maintain detailed records of each client's system, modifications, and service history.
• Conduct periodic check-ins and system tune-ups for established clients.
Operations and brand
• Help maintain the showroom and listening room to a standard worthy of the brands we represent.
• Support our presence at regional shows, private events, and brand launches.
• Contribute to standard operating procedures, demo protocols, and the long-term build-out of the business.
Who you are
Required
• Fluent in English, written and spoken.
• Valid UAE driving licence.
• Presentable, articulate, and at ease in private homes and high-value commercial settings.
• Comfortable having unhurried, consultative conversations about systems in the AED 100k–1m+ range.
• Discreet, patient, and dependable.
• A genuine and demonstrable love of music. Tell us what you listen to and why.
• Physically capable of installation work, including handling components in the 30–80 kg range with a colleague.
• Willing to work the hours the clientele keeps — evenings and weekends are part of this business.
• Looking for a multi-year role, not a stop-gap.
Strongly preferred
• Hands-on familiarity with two-channel hi-fi: turntables and cartridges, valve and solid-state amplification, DACs, streaming, and reference loudspeakers.
• Practical understanding of room acoustics and speaker placement.
• Experience selling, installing, or servicing premium technical products (audio, home cinema, watches, custom integration, photographic equipment, or similar high-touch categories).
• A regional language — Arabic, Hindi, Urdu, French, Russian, or Farsi — given Dubai's clientele.
• Comfort with basic IT and networking concepts as they relate to streaming and multi-room audio.
Nice to have
• Soldering and basic electronics for cable termination and minor in-house service.
• Formal training in electronics, audio engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Experience using room measurement software (REW, Dirac, or similar).
