Position Summary
We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven, and experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our growing engineering team. The ideal candidate will bridge technical design, hands-on works operations, plant management, and client engagement. You will oversee heavy industrial operations, manage fabrication and machining processes, and contribute to business development initiatives.
Software knowledge and experience:
• Design & Engineering Analysis:
o AutoCAD 2D, 3D and 3D Max technical drawings and schematics using AutoCAD.
o Perform structural and mechanical load calculations using industry-standard software such as STAAD.Pro 8i, ETABS and others.
• Workshop & Production Supervision:
o Manage and supervise works, ensuring optimal safety, efficiency, and quality control.
o Oversee precision manufacturing processes, including the operation of CNC and BMC Milling works and conventional machining equipment experience and supervision.
• Plant Operations & Maintenance:
o Direct and supervise heavy industrial plant operations, with specialized expertise in cement manufacturing plants, crushing plants, and material handling systems.
o Implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and enhance asset reliability.
• Business Development & Marketing:
o Leverage technical expertise to support marketing initiatives, client consultations, and technical sales pitches for industrial engineering solutions.
o Prepare accurate cost estimations, technical proposals, and quotations for prospective clients.
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience: A minimum of 5 years of progressive professional experience in a heavy industrial, manufacturing, or plant environment.
• Industry Background: Proven track record in plant supervision within sectors such as cement production, aggregate crushing plants, or heavy processing industries.
o Strong interpersonal, communication, and technical marketing skills.
o Possession of a valid driving license and flexibility for travel as required.
