Key Responsibilities
Review architectural drawings, door schedules, specifications, and approved shop drawings.
Conduct site inspections and verify door opening dimensions before manufacturing.
Coordinate with the factory and production team regarding door sizes, designs, materials, and finishes.
Supervise the installation of wooden doors, frames, architraves, and hardware.
Ensure proper alignment, leveling, clearances, and smooth operation of installed doors.
Coordinate with main contractors, consultants, subcontractors, and project managers.
Prepare material submittals, technical documents, inspection requests, and progress reports.
Monitor project schedules and ensure timely delivery and installation of doors.
Inspect materials and finished products to ensure compliance with quality requirements.
Identify and resolve site issues, dimensional discrepancies, and installation defects.
Coordinate snagging, rectification, and final handover activities.
Ensure compliance with applicable safety requirements and project specifications.
Assist in quantity take-offs, material estimation, and preparation of technical quotations when required.
Qualifications and Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
Experience in wooden doors, joinery, carpentry, fit-out, or construction projects is preferred.
Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and door schedules.
Knowledge of door installation methods, frames, hinges, locks, and other door hardware.
Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office; knowledge of project management software is an advantage.
Valid UAE driving license is an advantage for site-based roles.
