Governess – Part-Time / Flexible Hours
Location: Dubai, UAE
Child’s Age: Infant / Toddler (0–2 years)
Languages Required: English & Arabic (fluent in both)

About the Role
We are a Dubai-based family seeking a warm, educated, and experienced Governess to provide attentive care and early developmental support for our infant/toddler. This is a part-time role with flexible scheduling suited to family needs. The ideal candidate is nurturing, proactive, and deeply committed to a child’s early cognitive and emotional growth.

Key Responsibilities
• Provide attentive, loving daily care in line with the child’s routine (feeding, napping, hygiene)
• Support early language development through bilingual (English & Arabic) interaction, storytelling, songs, and play
• Plan and facilitate age-appropriate sensory, creative, and developmental activities
• Maintain a safe, stimulating, and organised environment
• Communicate openly and regularly with parents on the child’s progress, moods, and milestones
• Accompany the family on travel when required
• Liaise with paediatricians or specialists as directed by parents

Requirements
• Proven experience as a governess, nanny, or early years educator with infants/toddlers
• Fluency in both English and Arabic (spoken and written)
• Formal qualification in early childhood education, child development, or a related field is preferred
• Strong understanding of infant developmental milestones
• First Aid / CPR certified (or willingness to obtain)
• High degree of discretion, reliability, and emotional maturity
• Excellent references from prior families
