The Personal / Family Driver provides safe, reliable, and discreet transport for the employer and their family, including daily school runs, appointments, social engagements, and errands. The role calls for excellent driving skills, punctuality, a calm temperament around children, and absolute discretion regarding the family's privacy and routines.
Key responsibilities
• Drive family members safely to and from school, work, appointments, social events, and airports
• Handle daily school pick-up and drop-off, ensuring children are collected on time and safely secured in appropriate seats or belts
• Maintain a flexible daily schedule that adapts to changing family plans
• Run household errands such as grocery shopping, pharmacy collection, dry cleaning, and parcel pick-up
• Accompany family members on shopping trips and assist with carrying and loading purchases
• Plan routes in advance, allowing for traffic and arriving ahead of scheduled times
• Conduct daily vehicle checks on fuel, tyres, brakes, lights, and fluid levels
• Keep vehicles clean inside and out, and arrange washing and detailing regularly
• Coordinate servicing, repairs, registration renewal, and insurance with the employer
• Maintain records of mileage, fuel, tolls, parking, and maintenance expenses
• Assist with light household or property tasks when not driving, as agreed with the employer
• Respond calmly and appropriately in emergencies, breakdowns, or accidents
• Maintain strict confidentiality about the family's movements, guests, and private affairs
Qualifications and requirements
