We are seeking an organised and responsive Delivery Coordinator to plan and manage the daily delivery operation, ensuring orders reach customers accurately and on time. Reporting to the Operations Manager or Logistics Manager, the successful candidate will coordinate drivers, riders, and delivery schedules to keep the last-mile operation running smoothly.
The core of the role is delivery planning and scheduling. The Delivery Coordinator reviews orders due for delivery, plans routes and delivery windows based on location, priority, and vehicle or rider capacity, and assigns deliveries to drivers or riders in a way that maximises efficiency without compromising promised delivery times. Priorities are adjusted throughout the day as urgent orders come in or circumstances change on the road.
