Job Overview
We are looking for a talented Industrial Designer to develop distinctive, premium perfume bottle and cap designs for a luxury fragrance brand targeting all markets
The ideal candidate should have expertise in industrial design, NPD, 3D modelling, product visualisation, and design for manufacturing. The role involves transforming creative concepts into practical, dimensionally accurate product designs that can be prototyped and manufactured.
Key Responsibilities
1. Design unique and innovative perfume bottle shapes, caps, and decorative components.
2. Develop original concepts that reflect a premium, luxurious, modern, and distinctive brand identity.
3. Create detailed 3D models of perfume bottles, caps, and related components.
4. Develop bottle and cap designs with accurate dimensions, proportions, and fitting requirements.
5. Design for different bottle capacities, including 30 ml, 50 ml, 75 ml, and 100 ml, as required.
6. Prepare technical drawings, dimensioned CAD files, and manufacturing specifications.
7. Develop realistic 3D renders showing glass transparency, colours, finishes, metallic details, and materials.
8. Ensure the designs consider manufacturing feasibility, tooling requirements, assembly, and production costs.
9. Coordinate with glass bottle, cap, pump, collar, and packaging manufacturers to refine designs.
10. Develop prototypes and incorporate revisions based on manufacturing feedback.
11. Ensure the final designs are original and suitable for commercial production.
Skills & Software
1. Adobe Illustrator – logo design, vector graphics, and packaging artwork.
2. Adobe Photoshop – image editing, retouching, and product visuals.
3. Blender, KeyShot, or similar – 3D modelling and realistic product rendering.
4. SolidWorks, Rhino, or equivalent CAD software is an advantage for dimensionally accurate bottle and cap designs.
5. Knowledge of packaging dielines, print specifications, and finishing techniques such as foil stamping, embossing, and debossing.
6. Strong understanding of luxury branding, typography, colours, materials, and product presentation.
