Who we are
The Party (www.theparty.ae) designs and builds custom party decorations, event props and fabricated pieces for clients across the UAE. From birthday backdrops to large-scale brand activations, everything we make comes out of our own in-house workshop, and no two weeks are the same.
The role
We’re looking for a hands-on Machine Operator to join our workshop team. You’ll run our laser, CNC and printing equipment, turning designs into finished pieces for some genuinely exciting projects around the country.
What you’ll do
Operate and maintain laser cutting/engraving machines
Run CNC routing jobs on wood, acrylic, foam and other materials
Operate UV and vinyl printers, including file setup and finishing
Prepare materials, check quality and make sure work is ready on time
Help with assembly, finishing and installation when projects need extra hands
Keep machines and the workshop clean, safe and well organised
What we’re looking for
Proven experience operating laser machines
Experience with UV and/or large-format vinyl printers
Experience operating CNC machines
Comfortable reading design files and working to measurements
A hard-working, reliable attitude and real enthusiasm for making things
Keen to learn new skills, including foam cutting, woodworking and other fabrication techniques
A team player who’s happy to pitch in wherever needed
Bonus points
Valid UAE driving licence
Familiarity with design software such as [CorelDRAW / Illustrator / Photoshop/ VCarve, etc.]
