Job Role: FF&E Designer (Female Role)
- Minimum 3-5 Years work experience in Hospitality / Commercial Residential Design Sector With leading interior design and architectural consultancies experiences in UAE/GCC as an FF&E Designer.
- Salary depends according to the Interview and Test performance.
Technical Skills:
1. Deep understanding of furniture types, specifications, ergonomics, finishes, fabrics, materials, and durability.
2. Ability to create detailed FF&E specifications including manufacturer data, codes, lead times, finishes, and installation details.
3. Skilled in AutoCAD and Revit for space planning, elevations, and integration with architectural plans.
4. Use of tools like SketchUp, Indesign, Mattoboard, Enscape, or Photoshop for mood boards, visual presentations, and client approvals.
5. Understanding of procurement processes including vendor selection, budgeting, BOQs, and order tracking.
Creative & Design Skills:
1. Ability to create cohesive and innovative FF&E concepts that align with the overall design intent.
2. Good understanding of suppliers, manufacturers and products available locally in UAE and internationally.
3. Experienced in sourcing bespoke items or custom-designing furniture in collaboration with manufacturers.
Project Management & Documentation:
1. Develop and manage FF&E budgets and value engineering without compromising design intent.
2. Coordination of FF&E delivery timelines with project milestones and installation programs.
3. Experience working with interior designers, architects, MEP consultants, and contractors.
4. Oversee site delivery, installation, snagging, and handover of FF&E packages.
Soft Skills:
1. Ability to present FF&E proposals, handle revisions, and align client expectations with practical solutions.
2. High level of accuracy in documentation, specification, and installation reviews.
3. For a senior role, mentoring junior FF&E designers or coordinators may be expected.
Preferred candidate:
- Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Architecture / Interior Design from an accredited institution.
- Excellent communication and specification skills.
- Proficiency in Auto CAD, SketchUp, Indesign, Mattoboard .
- Must have Hospitality, Commercial Residential experience in GCC Developments.
