We are a growing pet shop based in Dubai seeking a clear, articulate, and fluent Chinese-English Translator to join our team. The ideal candidate will bridge communication between our English and Chinese-speaking customers, suppliers, and internal staff, ensuring exceptional service and smooth operations. Knowledge of Arabic is a strong advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide accurate written and verbal translation between Mandarin Chinese and English for working related, breeding details, and store communications.
Assist Chinese-speaking management, via phone, or through online messaging platforms (e.g., WeChat, WhatsApp).
Help translate product listings, marketing materials, and social media content targeting local and international pet owners.
Coordinate with suppliers and vendor contacts as needed.
Perform general customer service and admin support duties within the pet shop.
Requirements:
Languages: Native or professional fluency in Mandarin Chinese and English (written and spoken) is required.
Arabic Proficiency: Spoken or written Arabic is a strong plus.
Experience: Previous experience in translation, retail, or customer service preferred.
Passion for Pets: Genuine comfort around animals and an interest in pet care products.
Location: Must be based in or willing to commute to Dubai, UAE.
