We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Restaurant Supervisor to oversee the daily front-of-house operations of our Grill Restaurant in Dubai. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in a grill, steakhouse, or casual dining restaurant in Dubai, with a strong understanding of UAE hospitality standards, food safety regulations, and exceptional customer service. The Restaurant Supervisor will ensure smooth daily operations, lead the service team, and maintain the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Restaurant Operations
• Supervise the daily operations of the restaurant during assigned shifts.
• Ensure efficient and smooth front-of-house service.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and restaurant presentation.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, Dubai Municipality regulations, and food safety standards.
• Coordinate with the kitchen and butchery teams to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders.
Team Supervision
• Supervise, train, coach, and motivate waiters, cashiers, hosts, and support staff.
• Conduct daily shift briefings and communicate operational updates.
• Prepare staff schedules and manage attendance.
• Monitor employee performance and recommend training or corrective actions when required.
• Promote teamwork and maintain a positive working environment.
Customer Service
• Welcome guests and ensure an outstanding dining experience.
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and special requests professionally and efficiently.
• Monitor service quality and ensure prompt resolution of guest concerns.
• Build customer loyalty by delivering exceptional hospitality.
Food & Beverage Quality
• Ensure food and beverages are served according to company standards.
• Monitor food presentation, portion sizes, and service timing.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to maintain consistency in quality and guest satisfaction.
Inventory & Stock Control
• Monitor restaurant supplies, beverages, and service equipment.
• Assist in inventory counts and stock control procedures.
• Report shortages, damages, or maintenance issues to management.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of restaurant supplies.
Cash Handling & Reporting
• Supervise cashier operations and ensure accurate billing procedures.
• Verify daily sales reports and shift closing procedures.
• Ensure compliance with company cash handling policies.
Health, Safety & Compliance
• Ensure strict compliance with HACCP standards and Dubai Municipality food safety regulations.
• Monitor staff hygiene and personal grooming standards.
• Ensure all health and safety procedures are followed throughout the restaurant.
Qualifications
• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Restaurant Supervisor in a grill restaurant, steakhouse, or casual dining restaurant in Dubai.
• Strong knowledge of restaurant operations, customer service, and food safety standards.
• Experience with restaurant POS systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluency in English is mandatory; Arabic is an added advantage.
