We are hiring: Civil Foreman / Construction Foreman
Al Saifi Building Contracting LLC is looking for an experienced Civil Foreman to join our construction team in the UAE.
Important:
Candidates must be currently based in the UAE. Overseas applicants will not be considered for this position.
Requirements:
* Minimum 5 years of experience as a Civil Foreman in building construction.
* Previous experience in mid-rise / high-rise buildings, preferably G+8 floors or above.
* Strong ability to read and understand structural and architectural drawings.
* Good knowledge of reinforcement steel works, including bar sizes, spacing, laps, stirrups, cover blocks, columns, beams, slabs, stairs, and related details.
* Experience in formwork/shuttering, concrete works, blockwork, and general civil site activities.
* Ability to coordinate with site engineers, surveyors, subcontractors, and workers.
* Able to plan daily manpower, materials, and site activities according to project priorities.
* Good understanding of site safety requirements, especially working at height, scaffolding, housekeeping, lifting areas, and concrete pouring activities.
* Ability to check work quality before consultant/client inspections.
* Good communication and leadership skills.
* Arabic language is preferred.
* UAE/GCC experience is preferred.
Main Responsibilities:
* Supervise civil works on site and ensure work is completed as per approved drawings and specifications.
* Manage workers and subcontractors to achieve daily targets.
* Check reinforcement, formwork, levels, alignment, and concrete preparation before casting.
* Coordinate with engineers for inspections, material requirements, and site priorities.
* Maintain safe working conditions and report any unsafe activities immediately.
* Support daily progress reporting and manpower coordination.
