We are looking for a hands-on Agronomist / Horticultural Engineer to maintain and improve terraces and gardens across UAE.
This is a field-based position, not an office job.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Inspect and assess plant health.
• Develop year-round garden and lawn maintenance programs.
• Plan planting, transplanting, pruning, and seasonal care.
• Diagnose pests, diseases, and nutrient deficiencies.
• Prepare fertilization, irrigation, and plant protection plans.
• Train and supervise maintenance teams.
• Ensure the highest horticultural standards across all sites.
WE OFFER
- New-build staff accommodation: shared room with full facilities, located in Al Rahba, Abu Dhabi.
- Uniform, laundry service, room cleaning, and three meals per day provided.
- 1-week paid trial period.
- 2-year contract and company-sponsored visa after successful completion of the trial.
- Salary: 2000-4000 AED per month
- Full medical insurance.
- ILOE coverage.
- Annual end-of-service gratuity and bonus.
- Unlimited tea, coffee, fresh fruits, and cookies.
REQUIREMENTS
- Degree in Agronomy, Horticulture, or a related field.
- Proven experience in UAE/GCC landscape maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of arid climate horticulture.
- Hands-on experience with planting, pruning, lawn care, irrigation, soil management, fertilizers, and plant nutrition.
- Knowledge of fungicides, insecticides, herbicides, and safe chemical application.
- Ability to identify plants and select the right species for site conditions, including sun, wind, soil, and irrigation.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
