The Interior Fit-Out Foreman is responsible for supervising and coordinating all on-site interior fit-out activities, ensuring that work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications, quality standards, and timelines. The role requires strong experience in interior finishing works and the ability to manage site labor, subcontractors, and daily site operations.
Key Responsibilities
• Supervise and coordinate daily interior fit-out activities on site.
• Monitor and manage carpentry, gypsum, painting, flooring, ceiling, glass, joinery, and finishing works.
• Ensure work is executed according to approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Allocate manpower effectively and monitor workforce productivity.
• Conduct daily site inspections to ensure quality standards are maintained.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Identify site issues and report them promptly to management.
• Track material usage and report shortages or requirements.
• Maintain site records, progress reports, and attendance records.
• Support project completion within approved schedules and budgets.
Qualifications & Experience
• Diploma or technical qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction, Interior Design, or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Interior Fit-Out projects.
• Experience in Interior Design and fit-out execution is required.
• Strong knowledge of interior finishing works, materials, and installation methods.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and shop drawings.
• Experience managing site labor and subcontractors.
• Good communication and leadership skills.
• Knowledge of UAE construction and safety standards is preferred.
• Knowledge of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing) systems and coordination is required.
Requirements
• Valid UAE Driving License (Mandatory).
• Experience in commercial, retail, hospitality, and residential fit-out projects is preferred.
• Familiarity with UAE authority requirements and site regulations.
