We are a growing company who is focussing on fit-out and modifications works including remodelling of existing design, balcony enclosures and extensions for villas, apartments, offices and multiple maintenance and repair propositions for building common areas.
We are currently seeking an experienced construction foreman to supervise and coordinate daily activities report to management with actions and resolutions on the ongoing projects of villa renovations in Dubai.
The candidate will be responsible for daily site supervision, workers coordination, quality control, and ensuring projects are completed on time and according to agreed specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise and manage site workers and delegate works on timely manner.
• Ensure that fully aware of the scope of work and discussed with the management for better clarity and clear all doubts prior to execute any works, and works are executed as per drawings and specifications for the project.
• Coordinate carpentry, gypsum, tiling, painting, and MEP activities.
• Monitor finishing quality and eliminate rework on mistakes.
• Take ownership on materials usage and reduce wastage, keep proper inventory on the materials used and available.
• Keep track on company assets *such as tools and rental equipment’s
• Maintain site discipline, cleanliness, and safety.
• Aware of first id usage* if note company will be providing training on the first aid application.
• Report daily progress updates with photos.
• Assist in resolving site issues with productive ideas and suggest efficiently.
Suitable candidate and requirements:
• Minimum of 4+ years UAE experience in villa renovation or interior fit-out.
• Strong knowledge of civil, MEP, Joinery on finishing works for residential and commercial projects.
• Ability to read drawings and understands to execute for the site instructions.
• Good leadership skills and ability to control labour on productive way.
• Language: Basic English communication skills is sufficient along with other essential languages for speaking and understanding.
• UAE driving license is a plus
• Education: 12th, Diploma in any related areas of building construction and interior works.
