Fit-Out & Landscape Supervisor
Location: Dubai, UAE

Elegant Execution Building Contracting LLC is looking for an experienced Fit-Out & Landscape Supervisor to supervise and coordinate daily site activities across high-end residential projects in Dubai.
The successful candidate must have strong practical site experience in interior fit-out, finishing works, landscape works and external works, and must be capable of independently supervising labour, subcontractors, materials, workmanship and daily site progress.
This is a hands-on site supervision role. The selected candidate will report to the Project Engineer / Projects Manager and will be responsible for ensuring that work is executed correctly, safely, efficiently and in accordance with approved drawings, specifications and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities:-
* Supervise daily fit-out, finishing and landscape activities on assigned sites.
* Manage and control labour teams, foremen and subcontractors on a day-to-day basis.
* Ensure works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications and site instructions.
* Coordinate the sequence of activities to avoid clashes, delays and unnecessary rework.
* Monitor daily progress and ensure manpower is properly allocated.
* Report site progress, delays, material shortages and technical issues to the Project Engineer / Projects Manager.
* Ensure proper housekeeping, site organization and safe working conditions.
* Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors for planned activities and material deliveries.
* Check materials delivered to site for quantity, condition and suitability before installation.
* Ensure tools, equipment and materials are available before starting planned activities.
* Maintain proper protection of completed works.
Fit-Out & Finishing Responsibilities:----
The candidate must have practical experience supervising works such as:
* Gypsum partitions and ceilings
* Decorative ceilings and bulkheads
* Marble and natural stone works
* Porcelain, ceramic and tile works
* Flooring installation
* Joinery and carpentry installation
* Doors, frames and hardware
* Glass and mirror works
* Stainless-steel and decorative metal works
* Painting and decorative finishes
* Wall cladding and feature walls
* Waterproofing works
* Sanitary ware and bathroom accessories
* Ceiling access panels
* Lighting fixture installation coordination
* HVAC grilles and diffuser coordination
* Electrical accessories and final fixing
* Plumbing fixtures and final fixing
* Other architectural and interior finishing works
The supervisor must be able to identify poor workmanship, incorrect alignment, bad finishing, improper jointing, wrong levels, damaged materials and installation defects before consultant or client inspection.
Landscape & External Works Responsibilities:---
The candidate must also have practical experience supervising landscape and external works such as:
* Soft landscaping
* Trees, shrubs and planting
* Soil preparation and levelling
* Irrigation works
* Artificial and natural grass
* Hardscape works
* External porcelain and tile works
* Interlock and paving
* Natural stone paving
* Kerbstones
* Planters
* External steps and level differences
* Decorative gravel and landscape finishes
* Pergola and external feature installation coordination
* Boundary and external finishing works
* Outdoor lighting coordination
* Landscape drainage
* External plumbing and irrigation coordination
* Pool surroundings and related external finishing works where applicable
Site Supervision:---
* Check dimensions, levels, alignment and setting-out before work starts.
* Ensure work areas are ready before mobilizing subcontractors.
* Prevent subcontractors from proceeding when preceding works are incomplete.
* Coordinate between different trades working in the same area.
* Ensure completed works are protected from damage by following trades.
* Check workmanship continuously during execution rather than only after completion.
* Ensure approved materials and samples are being used.
* Immediately stop and report non-compliant work.
* Follow up rectification works until completion.
* Maintain daily site records and progress photographs.
* Support snagging and de-snagging activities.
* Ensure the site is ready for inspections.
Required Experience:---
* Minimum 5 years of relevant site supervision experience in fit-out, finishing, landscape or construction projects.
* UAE experience is strongly preferred.
* Proven experience in high-end residential villas, luxury fit-out or premium landscape projects is preferred.
* Candidate should have practical experience handling both finishing works and external works.
* Strong experience dealing with labour and subcontractors.
* Must understand proper sequence of construction and finishing activities.
* Must be able to work independently under the direction of the Project Engineer / Projects Manager.
Technical Knowledge Required:---
Candidate should be able to understand and work from:
* Architectural drawings
* Interior design drawings
* Reflected ceiling plans
* Flooring layouts
* Landscape layouts
* External works drawings
* Joinery drawings
* Marble and tile layouts
* Basic MEP drawings
* Irrigation drawings
* Landscape details
* Site levels and setting-out information
The candidate is not expected to perform engineering design, but must be able to understand drawings sufficiently to control correct site execution.
Qualifications:---
* Diploma, technical qualification or relevant construction background preferred.
* Strong practical site experience may be considered in place of higher academic qualifications.
* UAE driving licence is an advantage.
* Good communication skills in English are required.
* Ability to communicate with labour and subcontractors effectively.
* Basic knowledge of MS Office, WhatsApp reporting and digital site documentation is preferred.
