We are seeking a skilled and responsive Maintenance Technician to carry out repair, maintenance, and installation work across HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems. Reporting to the Chief Engineer or Maintenance Supervisor, the successful candidate will keep the property's building systems running reliably, respond quickly to faults, and support the preventive maintenance programme that keeps major breakdowns from happening in the first place.
The core of the role is fault response and repair. The Maintenance Technician responds to reported issues — air conditioning not cooling, a light circuit tripping, a leaking pipe, a blocked drain — diagnoses the cause accurately, and carries out the repair safely and to a proper standard rather than a quick temporary fix. Work is prioritised according to urgency and impact, with life-safety, guest-facing, and operationally critical issues addressed first. Where a fault is beyond the technician's scope or requires specialist parts or contractor support, this is identified and escalated promptly rather than left half-resolved.
