Live-in Housekeeper – Family in Dubai
We are a family of four with two young children, based in Jumeirah, Dubai, looking for an experienced and reliable live-in housekeeper to join our household on a long-term basis.
We are looking for someone who is highly organised, proactive, discreet and detail-oriented, with previous experience working in a private family home.
Main responsibilities
• Full housekeeping and daily cleaning of the home to a high standard
• Keeping the house consistently clean, tidy and well organised
• Laundry, ironing, folding and proper care of clothes and delicate items
• Changing bed linen and towels and maintaining bedrooms and bathrooms
• Wardrobe organisation and general household organisation
• Keeping cupboards, storage areas and household supplies organised
• Monitoring household products and informing us when items need to be replenished
• Simple breakfast preparation for the family
• Basic food preparation when required
• Keeping the kitchen clean and organised
• Receiving deliveries and assisting with general household tasks
• Helping with packing/unpacking and household organisation before and after family trips
• Occasional assistance with the children when needed, although this is primarily a housekeeping position and not a nanny role
• Comfortable working in a home with a pet
Profile
We are looking for someone who:
• Has solid previous experience as a housekeeper in a private household or luxury hotel
• Has excellent cleaning, laundry and impeccable ironing skills
• Understands how to care for delicate fabrics, furniture and household finishes
• Is naturally tidy and organised and notices what needs to be done without constantly being instructed
• Is reliable, punctual and hardworking
• Is discreet and respectful of the family’s privacy
• Has a positive and pleasant attitude
• Speaks good English and can communicate easily with the family
• Is comfortable around children and pets
• Is looking for a stable, long-term position
The position is live-in, with private accommodation provided.
We are particularly looking for someone who can take genuine ownership of the housekeeping and help ensure that the household runs smoothly and remains organised on a daily basis.
Salary 5000 + livin accommodation + insurance.
